I was just sitting here thinking about my having put myself out there for the praise and ridicule that comes with having people read your books.
My husband, Brett, says that he thinks all writers go through this and that my “stuff” is good but is it good enough?
I want people to enjoy my books, to like my writing, but there are moments when I am plagued with self doubt.
I am going to assume that Brett is right. I mean, how could he not be? How many people could actually go into this business knowing for certain that their work is good and that it will be accepted?
I’ve had good reviews but most of the people that have my books are family and friends. Few people that I don’t know have bought them, up to this point.
Now that o have started arranging book signings, I am going to find out.
